We structure our schedule to be able to handle a variety of dental emergencies. Most of the time we can treat your case enough to get you out of pain that same day. This of course depends on a variety of factors including the nature of your pain. We have treated pts who have lost teeth from trauma as well as more commonly acute dental infections that can cause extreme pain. If a tooth has been lost place it in cool milk or water and bring it in immediately. In the case of head trauma we always recommend a visit first to a medical physician (emergency room) to evaluate for any life threatening emergency.
